MEET YOUR TRAINER TONI!
Hi! I'm Toni. Head trainer and owner of Beautiful + Balanced Bodies. I've been a personal trainer / group fitness instructor for over a decade, working solely with women most my career.
I am a mum of two. You might see these two cheeky monkeys, Jaida and Kayce, in a Mums + Bubs class.
I am a degree qualified nutritionist (BHsc. Nutritional + Dietetic Medicine), with an interest in nutrition education made simple and women's health.
Hello! For those that haven't met me, my name is Toni and I am the head trainer at Beautiful + Balanced Bodies. I have been a personal trainer and group fitness instructor for 10 years now. I decided to join the fitness industry fresh out of high school because of my love of sports and to motivate people to be their best. I am still in love with my job and as passionate as ever to encourage and empower women to feel their strongest and most confident within their body through fun and achievable workouts, easy to understand and implement nutrition advice and a whole lot of body positivity and self love.
If you've never done a training session with me before, what you can expect is a welcoming and supportive environment. I am a big believer that you will get more out of your workout if you feel comfortable rather then being "smashed". I will always encourage you to move at your own pace, give exercise modifications to suit your fitness levels, any injuries and how you feel on the day with a little side of extra motivation to give you that extra push (I am called the Smiling Assassin for a reason) . I want you to feel confident that you can complete a class and feel proud that you took the time out of your day to do something for yourself and to better your health.
For those of you who are Mums or Mums To Be and are wanting to join in on the Mums + Bubs classes (find more information here), as a mum myself I know how hard it can be to take time out for yourself and to move your body when you aren't feeling your strongest and trying to navigate the world of disrupted sleep and constantly looking after a little person. But I want you to know MOVEMENT is one of the best ways to feel more energetic, less aches and pains and more stronger about your new body. I also want you to know you are in safe hands, being a qualified Safe Return To ExerciseTM, I have the education to help create a safe and achievable workout to suit wherever you are on your pre/post natal journey. I am also going through my postpartum recovery so will be with you every step of the way.
NOURISH YOUR BODY + MIND
I am also super passionate about educating people on their health and nutrition. Working mainly with women, I have heard of every diet craze out there. I have also seen how much stress and punishment women put themselves through to stick to these diets. That is why I studied my nutrition degree so I can help as many people as I can understand that food is there to nourish their bodies AND souls, not punish it. Although I am not currently offering nutrition consults, you will receive plenty of free nutrition advice on my social media pages and blogs. I love to chat about reading food labels, hormone health and ensuring everyone is nourishing their bodies in a non-restrictive, stress free way.
